The same functionality is present as before if you don't add the new "urlParam" property. If it is added, then the script will only run if it detects that url parameter on the page.
I set the delay to 5 seconds (the value input is in ms, so 5000) so you could see the effect. You do not have to set a delay time, it will default to 2 seconds (2000), I'd only recommend shortening the delay for landing pages. If it's going on a homepage, I'd leave the 2 sec delay or more for Google's NAP uniformity.
